One of the Egyptian myths says that the temple of Edfu is where the falcon-headed god Horus avenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth. 

After getting left in awe with edfu temple, we continue the aswan tour driving  to the beautiful temple of kom ombo that stands the high grounds over looking the nile. Temple of kom ombo differs from all the other temples in egypt s it is known for its unusual double symmetrical shape, the temple of kom ombo was constructed during the Ptolemaic dynasty, 180–47 BC, to worship the two gods Horus, the falcon god and Sebic, the crocodile god. Its also known for the beautiful cravings on its wall as it is said that it has the carvings of the first cesarean on its walls.
